I fell in love with comic books at an early age and ended up honing my skills throughout highschool until becoming accepted to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. It was here that i learned not only the basics, but also what i truly loved doing: world building. I began designing environments and creatures in my spare time, pushing the limits of my imagination and expanding my visual library. I graduated school in 2017 and began working freelance for various clients until landing a Job at Powerhouse Animation studios, where i am currently working as an Environment Artist on Netflix's Castlevania!
I am inspired by the 80s cartoons I loved growing up, despite not growing up in the 80s (Popeye, Johnny Quest, He-Man) as well as the mass amounts of media i consumed in the form of anime and comics. I truly love mythology. I find the grandious characters and stories unendingly interesting so there is no shortage of mythological nods in my work. I aspire to use my influences and lend my skills to whatever project has me, bringing my own unique flavor and aesthetic to the table.
